If you are looking for a statement piece, you’ve came to the right place. Today, Buffets and Cabinets will present to you a bold and creative design company, which offers amazing sideboard solutions for those who are tired of always seeing the same things. We are talking about BD Barcelona Design, and you will understand what we mean when you see the images below. As they so well explain:
“Since its origins in the 1970’s, BD has always been an atypical company. Its founders and still current owners, who come from an architectural background rather than the business field, have oriented BD’s production from the very start by cultivating beauty, in some cases above their function. Accompanied with artisan processes instead of mass production, the new products always have more proximity to art than industrial design”
SHANTY
A typology of furniture that had been lost at the end of the last century and which, in recent years, BD wanted to recover with its same functionality as always – being a container – but with different character. Few pieces admit interventions with so much personality without diminishing the function for which they have been created.
AQUÁRIO
This amazing statement piece was created by the brothers Fernando and Humberto Campana. Their work incorporates the idea of transformation, reinvention and integration of crafts into industrial production. They mean common materials, embellish them.

DREAMS
The luxury piece was designed by Cristian Zuzunaga (Barcelona, 1978). An atypical designer with a graphic art profile that has a language of his own, the key is the pixel that has given him fame and international recognition. He says that his style is the result of a dream he had, which is precisely the name that has been given to this piece: Dreams.
When you look at the image of this piece it looks like everything is unfocused. That’s exactly the idea and it makes us feel so uncomfortable.
COUTURE
This piece was designed by Fredrik Färg and Emma Marga Blanche, who are a young couple of designers (of Swedish and French origin respectively) who add personality, technique and innovation to everything they create.

Martí Guixé is an atypical creator. That is why he rejects any label or attempted classification as a designer. Within this profession has managed to find a space of expression where he develops naturally and with a surprising freedom.
TOUT VA BIEN
This is a case to say “last but not least”. Its very rare for a graphic designer to get into the field of furniture design. However, this piece was designed by two graphic designers and the result is simply amazing.
