Rose Garden Villa, Hangzhou
A residential villa located in Hangzhou, China sits alongside a glistening lake, the decor is elegant but comfortable and the color palette is kept light and fresh in soft beiges, French blues plus browns and with accents of black and white gold details. More saturated color is provided by plants and luscious flower arrangements throughout, bringing the outdoors inside.
The interior architecture is simple, letting the generous spaces speak for themselves, with added details such as inlaid stone floors, carved wood casings, wall paneling and detailed ceiling coffers.
Residences at St. Regis Lijiang
Situated amidst a spectacular paradise of untouched nature and rich ancient culture, the private Residences of St. Regis Lijiang resort beautifully complement their stunning surroundings. To design the architectural shell, HBA took inspiration from the traditional rustic houses of Lijiang.
Tall ceilings with exposed rough timber structures, plastered walls, and a neutral color palette were used to create authentic and peaceful interior settings. The furnishings are a balance of beautifully detailed contemporary western pieces along with locally found oriental antiques that reflect the richness of Lijiang’s unique culture and heritage.
Ethnic skills and craftsmanship are visible throughout the spaces in form of intricate wooden carvings, exquisite bronze metalwork and thoughtfully curated pieces of art.
