Design China Beijing 2018: Best Highlights

Design China Beijing was launched from 20th – 25th September in National Agricultural Exhibition Centre in Beijing. The show was the first international design trade event in Beijing and it managed to introduce more international leading design brands, galleries and independent designers to the visitors.

Constantly scoring new records, the design fair featured over 80 leading international and Chinese brands, galleries and designers from over 30 different countries. A unique platform for networking Asia’s most influential architects and interior designers, Design China Beijing 2018 gave the opportunity to the industry leaders to present their innovative ideas through this exclusive networking event.

Design China Beijing will also showcase a strong local roster of luxury brands and design talents within the fair and highlighting the growing industry in Beijing.

One of the luxury brands that made their presence quite memorable was Boca do Lobo from Portugal with its excuisite pieces.

Along with the decoration pieces, the Royal billiard table was presented and impressed every game lover.

The Eden Series of side tables was also there to provide a gold tone to the exhibition.

Of the top highligths of Design China Beijing was consider to be the Symphony Sideboard, as it was characterized to be an inspirational piece for one’s home interior design.

The Serpentine Pavilion Beijing 2018, designed by Jiakun Architects, reflects the Confucian concept of “junzi,” a kind of morally cultivated self, as expressed in the metaphor of an archer’s bow.

Mr. WANG Yudong, Deputy Director of Beijing International Design Week Organizing Committee, comments “Beijing International Design Week is an open platform for culture exchange, communication and collaboration nationally and globally. The launch of Design China Beijing enhances the communication and interaction within design industries, which is of great importance.”
