Pair of incredible “Bressan” Louis XV illuminated display modern cabinets in antique blue lacquer with custom bronze hardware and accents by Auffray & Co, American, 1969. These cabinets were commissioned by interior designer Robert Leviton & Sons for a home in Kings Point, New York.
This pair of slim antique French marble top cabinets is in kingwood and some lovely floral marquetry on the drawers. The pattern of the kingwood grain is very strong on the fronts & sides, whilst the backs are also polished. The original marble tops sit snug within the tops. The best choice for the lovers of classic pieces with a fine touch.
The Zitan Cabinets are of massive rectangular form, square panel doors, elaborately carved in deep relief with a single dragon chasing a flaming pearl amidst clouds. Each cabinet is fitted with baitong metal hardware and the feet are clad in baitong sabots.
